As the story begins, Tubby bids farewell to life in the Great Orchestra after a long time playing nothing but "oompahs" with the band. Free at last, he sets out into the wide world to find a melody he can call his own. His journey brings him first to a circus, where he performs a dancing elephant routine that quickly becomes popular. From there, he travels to the sparkling streets of Singing City. There, he falls in love with a beautiful orphan melody. With the guidance of a friendly bullfrog, he soon learns the importance of remaining true to himself and discovers the secret song he's been looking for. [More]
