Trailer Bulletin: Underworld: Evolution
by Scott Weinberg | October 21, 2005
Discuss Article
Didn't know there was an "Underworld" sequel on the way? Well, now you do, and the trailer's right here. Rejoining with all the vampires, werewolves, and Scott Speedmans is the seriously sexy Kate Beckinsale, who stars as a warrior vampiress who, let's face it, could probably kick Blade's butt.

""Underworld: Evolution" continues the saga of war between the aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). The film traces the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as Selene (Kate Beckinsale), the vampire heroine, and Michael (Scott Speedman), the lycan hybrid, try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. The tale of action, intrigue and forbidden love takes them into the battle to end all wars as the immortals must finally face their retribution."

Original "Underworld" director Len Wiseman returns for the sequel, plus he's married to his leading lady. (Lucky SOB.) "Underworld: Evolution" opens on January 20th.

that moron who appears before the trailer starts is the director, and he is married to kate beckinsale

lucky bastard!! it could be that he is horrible but talented, so he seduced her with his wit and cunning direction on the set, but he's a hack!!

Gee, I guess I'll be the one to put my neck out and say I actually liked Underworld. I thought it was stylish, nicely shot, with some decent action pieces and a fairly enjoyable story (even though a lot of it was ripped off from White Wolf's World of Darkness games)

I liked the 1st movie but I have one question.
Where are the female werewolves? Do they let the 'boys' do all the playing because we find out at a later time the female werewolves are the queen bitches of the pack and are meaner than the males?

underworld sucks
underworld is a blade wannabe. BLade was so successful with its trilogy of movies that were blockbuster hits at the boxoffice. Writers were like wait, why dont we put a girl instead of a guy and make the movie stupid and gay and u have underworld. The equation for underworld: BLAde - the great action + gay and stupid action + stupid script + fine girl(kate becinsale) - wesley snipes - good movie + dumb movie = Underworld.

Shoot!
Kate Beckinsale and guns...thats all I need to know, looks like it will have more action than the first one. I'll admitt it though the only reason I would see this film and ever saw the first one was because of Kate, that was the only reason.

this is a replica of blade
underworld is a bootleg of blade. they just took off wesley and put kate instead. blade would fuck up kate cuz lets face it he's the original one and kate is a bootleg.
