Reviews for Undisputed
[Hill] stretches credulity to the breaking point is in asking us to believe that there are actually two pro athletes in America who would have to stay in prison long enough that the arrangements for such a fight could be made.
Despite creative flourishes here and there ... Undisputed is ultimately destined for one of those "guy movie" marathons on cable TV.
Stripped-down to a point where it doesn't resemble a movie so much as it does pure, chemical testosterone, "Undisputed" is a prison boxing drama that you wish had something more than prison and boxing on its mind.
Dispiriting and obvious. …a potentially complex movie drained of all complexity, and a drama drained of all consequence.
"Undisputed" could have been compelling, but it ultimately plays out as a standard prison action movie.
This is not the undisputed worst boxing movie ever, but it's certainly not a champion - the big loser is the audience.
By its modest, straight-ahead standards, Undisputed scores a direct hit.
A solid, efficient B movie that holds the screen masterfully for an all-too-brief 90 minutes.
