Her Majesty's Secret Service sends Bond to stop Madcap computer industrialist Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) from triggering a massive earthquake in Silicon Valley and annihilating the global computer market. With the help of geoligist Stacey Sutton (Tanya Roberts), Bond must contend with May Day (Grace Jones) and Zorin's endless supply of henchmen as he jet sets from Paris to San Francisco leaving a trail of empty martini glasses and broken Q-gadgets behind him. In the 14th installment of the 007 series, director John Glen delivers an unforgettable and dazzling farewell vehicle for actor Roger Moore. Packed full of sex pot debutantes, whizz bang gadgetry, and cliffhanger action sequences, A VIEW TO A KILL is an unforgettable roller coaster ride. [More]

As lavishly escapist as they are, the latest James Bond films have become strenuous to watch, now that the business of maintaining Bond's casual savoir-faire looks like such a monumental chore.

Registers as another high-flying James Bond adventure story.

In this 007 film, former real man James Bond not only eats quiche, he literally bakes it.

Moore should have bowed out after the superb "Octopussy", but this is still a pretty good time at the movies.

Fun but truly silly James Bond movie. Some good action - the firetruck, the horse race, etc. - but be ready for over the top villains.

The inauspicious implosion of Roger Moore's stint as James Bond, not with a bang but a whimper.

Walken as a Bond villain, Duran Duran on the soundtrack -- it could be an infomercial and I'd still love it!

Not as bad as its reputation, but certainly among the lesser Bonds.

A View to a Kill is often numbered among the worst of the series, but, upon closer inspection, this film is a vast improvement over Octopussy.

No Bond outing is awful, but this one comes close.
