Determined to make it, they begin working on their next project, a sure-fire winner about private detectives in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, their poor instincts lead them to choose Joe Boone (Ferrer - TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME)--a bumbling detective who can't seem to find his way around the city, let alone solve any cases--as their subject.
