In anticipation of its May 1, 2009 release, promotional materials are slowly trickling out for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the Gavin Hood-directed, Hugh Jackman-starring movie exploring the beginning days of Marvel's beloved feral hero.

I could've sworn I saw this image already about a month or two ago. Hmm. I don't suppose it matters though - we already know Hugh Jackman's wolverine pretty well. Unless they're going to put him in one of his more traditional comic book costumes, nothing they show us is going to be that surprising.

This photo was on RT a month or two back! along with a couple of other photos that showed Wolverine in a cage-like cell!

Why is it being double reported?!

Besides, whatever happened to RT's take on all those articles?!?!? I actually enjoyed reading the articles on RT rather than going to the original source! booooooooooo!

I'll take yall's word on how new or old the photo is, but this hardly constitutes an ad campaign-- this pic seems to be directly preceding the other one we've all scene from this movie, with him in the cage with his arms crossed across his chest..

May 5th, Next pic released: same location but left profile, hand in pocket..

June 8th, Next pic released: same location but right profile, holding a slurpee...
