Courteney Cox to "Zoom" into Superhero Flick
Variety brings news of the next project for former "Friends" star Courtney Cox. The blue-eyed beauty will co-star opposite Tim Allen in "Zoom," a superhero comedy adventure which is based on Jason Lethcoe's graphic novel "Zoom's Academy for the Super Gifted."
Peter Hewitt ("Garfield") is directing from a screenplay by Allen, Matt Carroll ("The Shaggy Dog"), Adam Rifkin ("Small Soldiers"), and David Berenbaum ("Elf"). Variety describes the plot as focusing on "an out-of-shape former superhero who has lost his powers and is reluctantly called back into action to turn a ragtag group of kids into a new generation of superheroes in order to save the world from destruction."
