Stahl, Danes Won't Return for "Terminator 4"
In an interview with SciFi Wire, Nick Stahl, who played the role of John Conner in "Terminator 3," revealed that neither he nor Claire Danes will return for the fourth "Terminator" movie. "None of the cast is coming back," he said. As for the reason, he surmised that it might have something to do with the fact the story will take place further in the future and that his character will be "quite a bit older." Nick Stahl can be seen in the upcoming movie "Sin City," which is opening April 1st.

![]() on Feb 02 2005 05:42 PM Well at least it sounds like their going to finally go into the future and address the war between man and machine, instead of continuing to beat the dead horse storyline of "a Terminator goes back in time to try and kill John Conner again". (Reply to this) |

on Feb 03 2005 12:35 AM I know they could still use Nick Stal & Clair Danes and make then look old, its called Make-up! Stop Changing the John Conners! If they can make Nick Stal look like Yellow Basterd(Sin City) they can make him look old! (Reply to this) |

on Feb 03 2005 01:44 AM Using make-up to transform the two actors into older versions of themselves is the stupidest idea in the history of stupid ideas. What...should George Lucas have put makeup on Jake Lloyd to make him look like a teenaged Anakin? (Reply to this) |

on Feb 03 2005 03:42 AM I think it would be pretty cool to see michael biehn again... but I dont think that will happen. I just hope they'll get an acceptable crew....and not the Rock... (Reply to this) |

on Feb 03 2005 05:39 AM Michael Biehn I think the Michael Biehn character would be the best place to start the film. Of course, Biehn has aged since he first played the character, but they could move the film forward the same number of years and have it start there. This may be the best way to wrap up this franchise, with a battle between the cyborgs and the humans and John Connor as a middle-aged man at his peak in knowledge and skill at fighting them. It comes down to the script, though, and how they handle the entire thing. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 03 2005 07:05 AM Exactly, it all comes down to a good script, which is something the last movie (though fun) did not have at the level of excellency that we were used to back when Cameron was helming the first two films. The Michael Biehn idea is good; I'd love to see him back on the big screen wrapping up the story, but RitterRead, remember his character died in the 80s while his character was in his early 30s, so it's impossible to have him in the future in his late 40s or 50s. Botox to make him look younger ! (Reply to this) |

on Feb 04 2005 10:09 AM like son, like father... if they bring back Michael Biehn's character as John Conner's dad, they'll probably get another actor to play him like they have with the John Conners. Too bad, it would be cool to see Michael Biehn back in the project again. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 05 2005 03:19 AM Im not really looking forward to this film, with or without the original cast.T3 was a massive disapointment ,and destroyed the franchise for me. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 07 2005 08:00 PM In reply to this comment (#819476) I agree with the guy who talked about "beating a dead horse'. Who really cared about John Connoer anyway? The best parts of any of the Terminator movies were when you saw the future war. The rest of the movie was filler as far as I'm concerned. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2005 09:14 AM Worst. Time. Machine. Franchise. Since. The. Last In order to justify the first movie (the sequels being impossible at this point), this new story would have to center on getting Reese into Skynet and launching him, after the Terminator, through the time machine... ... which was reportedly destroyed after Reese passed through, thus turning the first movie into a cyclical paradox, and making the sequels unnecessary, since they were the same movie used to put the franchise on pause, anyhoo. But now I've gone over all your heads. ;) (Reply to this) |

on Sep 11 2005 12:33 AM In reply to this comment (#819469) No main cast members You are right I am glad that they are going to adress the war between man and machine but from what I have read that no cast members from t3 are going to be in t4 that is what I want addressed because If u remember Terminator told jhon connor that he would see him again but schwarzenegger will not be in t4 don't u find that that clashes with the storyline? ![]() on Apr 03 2006 06:53 PM don't cast the rock as terminator! if they cast the rock as terminator that would be horrible,he is one of the worst actors of all time and doom might have been maybe 25 percent better if they casted somebody else to play his character but either way doom was crap oh yeah now to get to the terminator i do think it is kool that they are going to the war between man and machine even though arnie is only in a small roll he has all the govener crap to take care of which i am mad about cuz he was a better actor then he is govener lol just like that green day song "govenator" i love that song and the title is halerious but anyway i think terminator 4 will be kool i just hope this is the last terminator movie and then when this comes out on DVD they make a gift set with all 4 terminator movies (Reply to this) |
![]() on Sep 28 2007 06:10 PM Why?! I like Nick Stahl and Claire Danes best actor than other. Nick Stahl is best for John Connor than Edward Furlong I believe. I believe Nick Stahl and Claire Danes is best at T4. We can do without Arnold in T4. I dont want Rock in T4. He is horrible Actor. (Reply to this) |
