Arthur Miller: 1915- 2005
Playwright Arthur Miller, considered a giant of the theater, has died at 89. Miller, who is best known for "Death of a Salesman" and his marriage to Marilyn Monroe, was also a target of the House Un-American Activities Committee in the 1950s as a result of his left-wing political views. A number of Miller's works have been adapted to the screen, including "The Misfits," "The Crucible," and recently "Focus," starring William H. Macy. Miller died Thursday night of congenital heart failure at his home in Connecticut.

Do yourself a favor and read Miller's theatrical masterpiece, Death of a Salesman. It will affect you.
