Jason Mewes to Woo Paris Hilton?
by Scott Weinberg | April 04, 2005
Discuss Article
The Hollywood Reporter brings news of what sure feels like one bizarre match-up. Jason Mewes and Paris Hilton will co-star in the romantic indie comedy "Bottoms Up," which is being produced by actor Paul Walker ("The Fast and the Furious"Wink. THR provides us with the following synopsis: "Described as in the vein of "Swingers," the comedy drama tells the story of a Midwestern bartender (Mewes) who finds love with Hilton's character as well as money and success in Hollywood." First-timers Nick Ballo and Erik MacArthur wrote the screenplay, and MacArthur will be directing. You'll soon be able to see more of Paris in "House of Wax" and "Pledge This!," while Mewes has the "Project Greenlight" horror flick "Feast" on the way.

Mewes must be back on the drugs if he thinks this is a good idea.

I'm sure people will pay to see this crap, which will continue to encourage Hollywood to keep taking a dump in theaters.

Aaarrgh! I'm so sick of hearing about Paris freakin' Hilton! She never had anything interesting to say, and she doesn't have anything to show us except good looks, and plenty of people have those! Why not give the fame to people with brains and imagination, instead of pointless airheads like her?
...okay, I've calmed down now.

Mewes just tossed whatever career he had down the drain.

Produced by Paul Walker? He's gotta be one of the worst actors I can think of. Maybe that's why he's turned to producing?

Perhaps this movie will be so horrible that it'll be funny as hell, assuming I engage in heavy drug use before watching.

Besides paris has only done one good movie previosly, and even that was a little hard to make out because of the terrible lighting.

Jason jason jason I thought you got off the drugs.

It'll be so bad that it's unbearable to watch for more than twenty seconds. Not so bad it's good. And Jason Mewes isn't veru funny to begin with.

Can Anything Stop Paris Hilton?
I'm waiting for the backlash when all of Hollywood reacts to the fact that one does not need talent anymore. Paris lowers the bar making Ben Affleck look like a Method actor.

She's got good looks, for one thing. The other thing she's got is money. Lots and lots of money. You don't need talent if you've got money. You don't need luck, either. Perhaps it's just as well she's busy infecting the acting community. Imagine what might happen if she turned her attention to politics.

I hate paris but I love Jason
Okay, Screw paris Hilton (not literally..).. she's ugly... she looks like an anorexic $2 whore, and Jason would BREAK her, which explains why he hasn't attempted to accomplish the relative easy task of getting into the hilton cooch...

in reply to the people who DON't think he's that funny to begin with. you have a right to your opinion. but I think he's sexy and funny. so he's a 2 in one deal.
;)
also its just plain rude how people on here are throwing that shit about drugs in his face.... He's been 2 years sober and thats not even funny.

If the movie was to fail, it would be because of hilton.. not jay.
