elziard writes: on Apr 27 2005 08:03 AM to be honest, hitchcock's was masterful in suspense and the lack of a soundtrack a nice compliment to that. but it is far from a great movie. "only bad movies should be remade" is semi-applicable here. but bay…please, you are no hitchcock. what could you do to make this better? (Reply to this) |

Durendal writes: on Apr 27 2005 11:20 PM Michael Bay will burn for eternity. This man needs to be stopped before he strikes again. Bay has no heart, no soul, no talent, and no brain. He's a walking bag of festering rat mucous. The only way it could be worse is if Uwe Boll is hired on to direct it. (Reply to this) |

topher4 writes: on Apr 28 2005 06:41 AM Remakes, Remakes, Remakes, that and sequels are all anybody is doing anymore. However, I will still go and see this one. I don't know why everyone is giving Michael Bay so much flack. Lets just face it most of the time a remake is never going to be better then the original. In my opinion the remakes he has done haven't been terrible. I really liked both his remakes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the Amityville Horror. But like I said before they will never stack up next to the original. So I will give a little word of advice, get over it people, and watch the remakes as their own film. Its kind of like how when they turn a book into a movie, and its never as good as the book. If you look at them as their own separate pieces of work it makes things a lot easer. (Reply to this) |
