Weinsteins Snatch Up Bruce Willis' "Lucky Number"
Despite the fact that Bob & Harvey Weinstein still don't even have a name for their new movie company, that certainly hasn't prevented the boys from doing some business. Their most recent acquisition is "Lucky Number Slevin," a crime thriller that stars Bruce Willis ("Die Hard"), Josh Hartnett ("Pearl Harbor"), Lucy Liu ("Charlie's Angels"), Morgan Freeman ("Batman Begins"), and Ben Kingsley ("Suspect Zero").
Written by Jason Smilovic (TV's "Karen Sisco") and directed by Paul McGuigan ("Wicker Park"), "Lucky Number Slevin" is "set in the world of New York City gangsters," and "follows a case of mistaken identity that lands Hartnett's character in the middle of a murder plot."
