Trailer Bulletin: Saw 2 (teaser)
Fans of last year's indie horror hit "Saw" will want to head on over to the sequel's official site and check out the brief but tantalizing look at "Saw 2." First-time director Darren Lynn Bousman has taken over for James Wan (who is currently working on a thriller called "Silence"), although screenwriter Leigh Whannell is still on board.
Although the plot of "Saw 2" is being guarded pretty closely, we can tell you that actors like Tobin Bell ("Malice"), Dina Meyer ("Starship Troopers") and Shawnee Smtih ("The Blob") are back for a second trip, and they'll be flanked by new arrivals like Donnie Wahlberg ("The Sixth Sense"), Glenn Plummer ("Showgirls"), and Emmanuelle Vaugier ("Secondhand Lions").
Rushed into production late last year, "Saw 2" will creep into theaters on October 28th.

![]() on Jul 23 2005 03:58 AM Bleh, the whole mystique of the first Saw is gone. It was a movie that was nearly entirely hitched on its' ending (a good one, if you ask me). Now there's no more mystery, just an excuse of a story to perform brutal deaths and spout minimilstic lines at the audience. If you liked the attitude of the first film, go watch Fight Club again instead for the attitude, and ignore this weak sequel to one of the only decent horror movies in recent times. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Jul 23 2005 09:11 AM In reply to this comment (#824291) I agree. It was a one film only kind of storyline indeed. The whole concept was based on the contained room & the interaction between the 2 characters. If you want some true horror check this new Italian film Bad Brains, though it looks like it's shot on DV & is far more gruesome then Saw, but not as gross as the pretty sick h (Reply to this) |
