Weinsteins and IFC Pair Up for the "Unknown"
by Scott Weinberg | July 21, 2005
Discuss Article
The new ensemble thriller "Unknown" will hit theaters courtesy of the Weinstein brothers' new company, and hit home video via IFC Films, according to Variety.

First-time filmmakers Simon Brand (director) and Matthew Waynee (screenwriter) deliver a story that "follows five men who wake up with no memory in a locked warehouse. Together they are forced to figure out who's good and who's evil in order to stay alive."

The rather impressive cast features Jim Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Barry Pepper, Joe Pantoliano, Bridget Moynahan, and Jeremy Sisto.

No word yet on a release date, but the movie should be ready for public consumption within the next few months.

Sounds good, if done well by the first timers. Who can't complain about their cast.
