ComingSoon.net has been all over the set of Wolfgang Petersen's upcoming "Poseidon Adventure" remake, and their Sandra Kraisirideja delivers a set report, an interview with Josh Lucas, and even some behind-the-scenes video!

"Wolfgang Petersen, the mastermind behind "Das Boot" and "The Perfect Storm," continues his fascination with the ocean's fury in "Poseidon," coming in summer 2006 from Warner Bros. Pictures.

This update of "The Poseidon Adventure" also involves a luxury cruise liner that is toppled over by a rogue wave on New Year's Eve. However, the characters in "Poseidon" have no relation to those in the original movie, which starred Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Shelley Winters and Red Buttons. The new "Poseidon" stars Josh Lucas, Kurt Russell, Richard Dreyfuss, Jacinda Barrett, Jimmy Bennett, Emmy Rossum, Mike Vogel, Kevin Dillon, Freddy Rodriguez and Mia Maestro.

To generate interest in the film, which will be one of Warner Bros.' top releases next summer, the studio conceived a brilliant plan involving various online movie sites and a continuing journal that would be updated weekly. ComingSoon.net was invited to contribute Chapter Six to the Journal and we got the opportunity to interview Josh Lucas.
