Trailer Bulletin: The Fountain
by Scott Weinberg | November 10, 2005
Blog Article | Discuss Article
OK, so it's more of a Teaser Bulletin than a Trailer, but there's still a promotional clip to be enjoyed, and this time it's for Darren Aronofsky's highly-anticipated sci-fi epic "The Fountain."

Written and directed by Aronofsky, whose previous films include "Pi" and "Requiem for a Dream," "The Fountain" is described by the IMDb as "Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories ... a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world."

Warner Bros. hasn't settled on a release date just yet, but thousands of sci-fi geeks (including me) will be quite happy when they do.

"The Fountain" stars Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz, Sean Patrick Thomas, Ellen Burstyn, Cliff Curtis, Ethan Suplee, and Sean Gullette.

Yea it has been taking them forever to get this made, so it's a good sign that finally at last they are starting to advertise for it. I shall continue to look forward to this, I just wish they would set a release date.
