on Dec 16 2005 11:49 AM king kong will get best picture, best director and best actress nominations at the oscars, just seen it, it's brilliant and very moving now with the dvds and the plasma tv I only went to the theater to see movies three times this year: sith, batman and kong, I used to go like 45-50 times per year untill a couple of years ago, but now very few movies are interesting enough to make that trip, but kong sure is one of them (Reply to this) |

on Dec 16 2005 05:24 PM Anyone willing to explain to me why they have the British actors seperated? I know that it's the BRITISH award show but it seems a little silly and time consuming to me to seperate everything! (Reply to this) |

on Dec 16 2005 07:43 PM I'm just thrilled to see the awesome "Descent" get some respect from the London critics. I think it's fantastic that a dark & intense horror movie earns that kind of acclaim across the pond. Well done, blokes. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 17 2005 09:49 AM My Summer of Love No awards period for My Summer of Love??? I figured it got missed in the American awards noms because it was British, but for the London film critics to miss it too is absurd. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 19 2005 12:43 PM Well, the best direction I've seen this year was either Cronenberg or Jackson, though I've yet to see "Brokeback Mountain," "Syriana," "The New World," or "Munich." (Reply to this) |
