Martin Lawrence Goes "Wild" with Travolta & Tim Allen
by Scott Weinberg | February 16, 2006
Discuss Article
The Hollywood Reporter brings news of a rather unique-sounding comedy trio. For those who've waited years to see the first Martin Lawrence / John Travolta / Tim Allen comedy, your prayers have been answered.

"Martin Lawrence will twist his throttle for "Wild Hogs," a comedy for Touchstone Pictures being produced by Tollin/Robbins Prods. Walt Becker is directing. Lawrence is in negotiations to join John Travolta and Tim Allen for the movie, which revolves around a group of frustrated middle-aged suburban biker wannabes who hit the open road in search of adventure only to encounter a real Hells Angels group. Brad Copeland wrote the script. Filming is scheduled to start in April in New Mexico. Kristin Burr is overseeing for the studio."

Thanks to Disney for putting Tim Allen & Martin Lawrence in one movie instead of two; makes the guys so much easier to avoid this way.

I think I just threw up
These three men couldn't buy a good movie, and they can afford it. Travolta is at least capable of good work, but Allen and Lawrence guarentee shit. I think this combo easily bests Rob Schneider/David Spade/Jon Heder. What's next, Pauly SHore/Van Damme/Steve Guttenberg?

A Shore/VanDamme/Guttenburg movie where they all kill each other, for real. Maybe we could get Steven Seagall in on it, too.

I would like the meet the numbskull who came up with this cockamamie idea. I feel bad for John Travolta as he deserves a good movie.

Well lt will do good for one reason, travolta. He will be the reason people will go to see lt. Along with lawrence follwers. And the Movie "benchwarmers" with spade, schneider, and heder are the best trio to make the funniest movie!! You can't deny they would be. Can't wait for that movie to come out. Gauranteed a smash hit.!!

Travolta has seemed to squander his big comeback started by "Pulp Fiction." All was going great for him until "Battlefield Earth." I don't think he's had anything gross near $100 million since "Battlefield Earth."

martin since the first big momma (when he suffered a stroke) is not very good to say the least. but before that he did nothing to lose, blue streak, & life which i liked...now tim allen bothers the hell out of me and john travolta should be intresting in a comedic role.

If there was a Pauly Shore/Van Damme/Steve Guttenberg movie I would be first in line to see it.

Wake up fools. Older Americans are buying the hogs as a sign of middle age youth. I think this has all the makings of a funny and entertaining movie. As for all you negative movie "critics", stay at home punks. Travolta, Lawrence, and Allen will be hilarious.
