Learn Some Slick Editing Tips from "Zodiac" Director David Fincher
by Scott Weinberg | June 19, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Fans of director David Fincher and high-tech modern filmmaking should get a real kick out of this new clip, which shows off how easy it is to edit a film using a Mac while also giving us a few brief glimpses of the filmmaker's "Zodiac," which doesn't open until next January.

Movieweb pointed us to the clip, so head on over there to check out the goods.

(OK, so it's basically a fancy commercial for Final Cut Pro, but hey, we don't get to see David Fincher all that often...)

"Zodiac" is based on the true-crime novel by Robert Graysmith, and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Edwards.
