Another Scoop of Doom on "Fantastic Four 2"?
Actor Julian McMahon, best known for his great work on "Nip/Tuck," had a recent chat with if iFMagazine, and he shared some "Fantastic Four 2" tidbits that may (or may not) prove interesting to the comics fans. Bottom Line: Looks like his Dr. Doom will be returning for a second visit.
From iFMagazine: "We haven’t got a script yet," says McMahon. "The script hasn’t been put out and I’m not going to start until the end of August or September. Right now, I’m literally every day, 16 hours a day on NIP/TUCK."
"There are so many [stories]," he admits. "Obviously the Marvel world is split up between a bunch of different property ownership, so what you can do and what you can’t do, depends on who owns it. Fox owns a certain part of it and Marvel owns a certain part of it and that really tells us where we’re going. They come up with the ideas and scripts and I just perform."

"Fantastic Four 2," which may (or may not) actually be called "Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer," hits theaters next summer. Expect more concrete news on the flick when it becomes available.

on Jul 28 2006 04:11 PM if the first one had been played purely for comedy, i would have loved it. but no, they had to involve "emotional issues" and "character arcs" which felt more out of place than heather graham at the oscars. chris evans better get a whole lot of naked in this one or im taking my business elsewhere.
