Get to Know the "Ratatouille" Voice Cast!
by Scott Weinberg | July 31, 2006

If there's one thing that Pixar's usually good at, it's finding the perfect actors to voice their colorful characters. And now we have a new ensemble to meet, the voice actors for next summer's "Ratatouille."

Thanks to ComingSoon.net for sharing the Disney/Pixar press release: "Patton Oswalt, Brian Dennehy, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo, Ian Holm and John Ratzenberger will voice Disney/Pixar's animated-adventure "Ratatouille," opening June 29, 2007.

In the film, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely - and certainly unwanted - visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy's passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.

Remy finds himself torn between his calling and passion in life or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef.

"Ratatouille" is directed by Academy AwardŽ-winning Brad Bird ("The Incredibles") and co-directed by Academy AwardŽ-winning Jan Pinkava ("Geri's Game")."

This is what happens when ideas get rushed and people become impuslive....What's next a Pig that that think's a sheep dog? Or a spider that saves a pig's life? OR a man forzon 1000 years in the future wakes up to see Druken Robots? Can't see it.

Yeah, you're right. This is a terrible idea.

I mean, what's next? Toys that get lost and have to trek across town to get back to their owner?

Bugs that build a fake bird to fight grasshoppers?

Toys that have to get back to their owner--um, whoops. Did that already. Seemed to work. Better than the last time, I might add.

Monsters in closets who rescue a kid from certain doom?

A fish who needs to rescue his son from the Human world?

Retired superheroes who fight a superhero killer?

A car who gets lost and needs to make friends and find his way back to his racetrack?

I mean, all of those are dumb, silly ideas!!! Now this "Pixar" company thinks it can make a movie about a rat in a Paris sewer...just who the hell do they think they are?!?

LOL...

"Pass"??? On a PIXAR movie?!? You have got to be shitting me, Pyle!!!
