Tarantino, Rodriguez, Clooney & Pitt: It's "Grind House" and "Ocean's 13" Trailer Time!
A pair of pretty high-profile movie trailers hit the 'net quite recently, one for the long-awaited Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodriguez action-horror combo "Grindhouse," and the other for the second star-studded sequel to "Ocean's Eleven."
Click here for the "Grindhouse" trailer, which (not surprisingly) I think looks pretty darn awesome. (It opens on April 6th.)

If you need any explanation, the trailer gives the following helpful definition:

Rose McGowan and that crazy machine gun leg in "Planet Terror"
Next, click here for the first trailer for George Clooney and Company in "Ocean's Thirteen," which also looks pretty slick, albeit for decidedly different reasons. This time around, Danny Ocean and his band of merry thieves are after one thing: revenge. And you'll love who they chose for the villain.
In other trailer news, if you want an early peek at Jessica Alba & Co. back in spandex, the "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" trailer will be attached to "Night at the Museum" this weekend, which might convince a few extra people to go see the flick. Maybe.

"GRIND HOUSE (n):
A theater playing back-to-back films exploiting sex, violence, and other extreme subject matter."Sound awesome yet? In "Grindhouse," the gore-happy auteurs will each have their own separate full-length feature -- Rodriguez's "Planet Terror" promises zombies, guns, and Rose McGowan; Tarantino's "Death Proof" features killer cars, Kurt Russell, and more Rose McGowan (not to mention Rosario Dawson, Vanessa Ferlito, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead).

on Dec 22 2006 07:21 AM Wow Talk about the most innovative and artistic directors of our generation. I am glad they are friends. You know this will have mixed reviews, but damnit, it will be better than most of the other crap that is coming out! (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 08:30 AM HEHEHEHEHEHEHEH........ sweet. can't wait to see it, considering it's the only taste of tarintino before Sin City 2. as for Oceans 13, i'll hold judgement, because it looks like they are gonna fix most of the mistakes from the first sequel, but im still not sure it will work. ![]() on Dec 22 2006 09:07 AM Both trailers look great. Can't wait to see both! These directors are trying someting off the wall with conventional Hollywood films and I think that's interesting. Ocean's 13 looks pretty fun especially because of the reunion between Pacino and Garcia. My interest is picqued! (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 10:08 AM yeah rodruguez, tarantino, and Rob Zombie they have a real fat fetish for the 70's old school. Which is understandable because it was a great decade for film actually a lot of experimentation and directors/artists managed to get away with a lot back then. But I'm really hopinmg the movie has more story than just a 70's homage gimick. Looks like it has potential (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 11:24 AM I'm sorry, but Grindhouse looks absolutely retarded. I mean. the girl has a friggin gun as a leg. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 11:34 AM "300" in March, "Grindhouse" in April..... this new year is gonna kick major a$$!!!! finally some movies that are outside of hollywood mainstream but with the same production values. tarantino should really get a move on it though, like, come on he can make more movies than he is now. on Dec 22 2006 11:50 AM From this trailer, it looks as though Fergie may die off early, as many had hoped for, thank god. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 02:41 PM Isn't Grindhouse just one of those really crappy, dumbass late-night piece of junk re-released with Tarantino and Rodriguez's names to appease the inner homosexual urges of oodles of moronic fanboys that are cynical to all but the work of these mediocre heroes of theirs? Teehee. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 07:55 PM In reply to this comment (#851621) Yes, someone who says someone is homosexual, especially in good fun, is most certainly a homophobe. Go Tarantiguez!! (Reply to this) |

on Dec 22 2006 08:08 PM Dont go bagging Fergie! she rocks the lame/fag-hag crowd. Although, yes, it does look like she gets it early on. I was a little disappointed about not seeing Rosario Dawson in there but all the Rose McGowan exposure is enough for me. She could make me potentially re-think heterosexuality. This movie will most probably get mixed reviews, but that has never stopp the moviegoing public before when it comes to buzz films. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 27 2006 12:05 PM Grindhouse will probably be the best piece of crap in years. And if you don't understand what that means, you probably won't like the movie. As for Oceans 13, i say nothing, except that they have a lot to atone for after 12. Well ok, that and i think Garcia being on their side is a wee bit lame, so there better be a damn good reason for it. (Reply to this) |

on Dec 28 2006 06:09 PM Better than the piece of crap 'Kill Bill'? I'm in. (Reply to this) |
