Summary

The New York Post's Lou Lumenick informs us that Sony's (very) long-awaited "Ghost Rider" would be landing in theaters next week without making a pit stop with the movie press. And that means two things: 1. The movie is probably not very good, based on the average Tomatometer (15 percent) of unscreened movies; 2. It's time to play Guess the Tomatometer! Back to Article

The theatrical cut of Daredevil sucked, but the director's cut was amazing. So it is pretty much a toss up.

But consider...

1) The potential miscasting of Nic Cage. Just doesn't seem a whole lot like Ghost Rider.

2) Weak villains. This looks like the villains are going to be weak, without the strength to carry any real threat to Ghost Rider.

3) The FX... at least those close ups... look shitty...

Who knows. It'll either be badass, or a piece of crap.

But what does the studio care? We're all gonna see it, aren't we?

Why nic cage? He'll just make the role laughable. I mean what's with his stupid sarcastic one-liners he constantly has to say in every action film he's in, it's just ridiculous, it's not necessary. Is he trying to be clever? He's not pulling it off.
This movie is going to be horrible it's written by the same guy who wrote Elektra and Daredevil the worst superhero movies ever made need I say more.

I'm guessing 35%. A delay for any film for any reason is bad news. Last I checked, refusing to show it to critics instantly subtracts 30%.

I have really high hopes for this film. I don't think its gonna be horrible. Daredevil was manageable. And the Director's Cut, I didn't find too different from the original, but thats another story.

I think this movie will be decent. It won't be a Spider-Man or a X-Men movie. But it will be alright....

....Atleast I hope.
