One of those "know the face / don't know the name" character actors has just been signed to co-star with Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow in Jon Favreau's "Iron Man." His name is Shaun Toub, and here's what you might remember him from...

Movie-wise, not a whole lot (aside from a supporting turn in "Crash," that is). He played a store clerk in "Bad Boys," a guard in "Hot Shots 2," and a doctor in "Stigmata," but those low-profile gigs look to be a thing of the past for this performer. (The guy's also done more TV work than Ted Danson, it seems.)

Mr. Toub has accepted a role in "Iron Man," but that's all we know for sure. The guy seems to be on a roll these days; he'll soon pop up on "Lost."
