Erroneous! writes: on Feb 28 2007 07:39 AM I'm getting more and more excited for this. Does Christmas sound soon to anyone else? I'm not complaining but I want this to be a sweet movie. Anyway the best are obviously, 2, 3, 4. The worst are 1, 5, 9. (Reply to this) |

Samwise Gamgee writes: on Feb 28 2007 07:42 AM I don't really think there's anything to the odd numbererd Star Trek curse. The first one didn't live up to enormous expectations, was a little slow, and seemed to forget they couldn't just completely rip off of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Other than that, I thought it was a decent flick. After that, there were 3 good movies, and we consider it a curse that they lost a bit of steam after that? If anything, we should call it the miracle the even numbered (and even one odd numbered) ones were good after four films, and that doesn't even hold water because Nemesis was the worst one, and it was #10. elziard writes: on Feb 28 2007 08:15 AM i was disappointed the franchise fizzled. i mean, insurrection and nemesis two, slow films and more of the same?! those so didn't do justice to what they had accomplished in the series and the nextgen movies. (Reply to this) |

skasforfags writes: on Feb 28 2007 08:23 AM 1. #8, Picard tears that shit up. 2. #6, Kirk and McCoy tear it up. 3. #2/4, could be ranked higher, but I've seen them too many times. Probably not a good reason to drop one or the other, oh well. So many good quotes though. #1, #5, and #9 are terrible. (Reply to this) |

High School With Money writes: on Feb 28 2007 12:10 PM Full order: 2-4-8-3-6-1-10-7-9-5 I wonder if the casts would be willing to voice CGI flicks a la Ghostbusters III? (Reply to this) |

filmscorehunter writes: on Feb 28 2007 12:17 PM They're all good movies, some more appreciated and understood than others. I don't believe in the even-numbered, odd-numbered theory many people are obsessed with when it comes to the Star Trek movies. With that said, I can't wait to see the next one when it comes out on Christmas '08. (Reply to this) |

jjwade writes: on Feb 28 2007 04:43 PM Any Trek film with Data in it has been garbage. He is on par with Jar Jar Binks for most annoying character in a film. Shut the F*** up about your stupid emotions and chart a course for the landfill, Data. (Reply to this) |

rabid1017 writes: on Feb 28 2007 10:26 PM My order is: 6, 2, 4, 3, 5, 8, 7, 9, 10, 1 What's ironic is I like TNG as a series more than the original, really. Unfortunately, all the TNG movies have been crap (even 8, which started out promising but ended up being total crap). (Reply to this) |

jjwade writes: on Mar 01 2007 06:51 PM In reply to this comment (#857035) Picard and Data - what a combo! A man with no emotion, and a robot who can't shut up about his emotions! Kirk and Spock had some wit. Picard and Data aren't funny. They are boring and predictable...just like your mom. (Reply to this) |

criddic writes: on Apr 21 2007 06:08 PM I enjoyed "The Wrath of Khan" (2), "The Voyage Home" (4), "The Undiscovered Country" (6), "First Contact" (8), "Search for Spock" (3). Sort of enjoyed "Generations" (7). "Nemesis" (10) was okay, but could easily have been an episode of TNG. "Insurrection" (9) and "Final Frontier" (5) are the worst of the series, with the edge for the worst going to "Insurrection" because at least "Final Frontier" had a few moments I liked.
