Smokin' Joe Has Seen a "Sin City 2" Teaser

And by "Smokin' Joe" I mean Crazy Joe Carnahan, director of action flicks like "Narc" and "Smokin' Aces." Seems that Robert Rodriguez recently dropped by JC's office and dropped a little "Sin City 2" footage on him.

We'll let Joe explain what happened: "Robert Rodriguez stopped by the office yesterday and showed me what may become the teaser for 'SIN CITY 2' and HOLY SH*T is it something. I don't want to let any cats out of any bags, so all I can say is there's not a hetero male moviegoer alive that's not going to deeply DIG that spot. Remember, he's doing 'A Dame To Kill For' and brother has he got it."

Wow, cool. And I can tell you from personal experience that Joe Carnahan is definitely one of those "movie geek" filmmakers. So if he's psyched, I'm psyched. Wait, I was already psyched for "Sin City 2."

I find it a little insulting he specifies hetero males. Does he only view the world in obvious stereotypes? Some will call me overly P.C., but I didn't see the need. In fact I have a gay friend who would rank Sin City as one of his all time favorites!

I thought Sin City was overated, sure it was flashy and violent, but it wasnt cohesive. I kept waiting for the seperate stories to come together and they never did. Plus I never understood the yellow guy and Mickey Rourke is so messed up w/ plastic surgery he needs all those facial prostetics to look half human.

grapeantler - yeah, you're definitely being overly PC. He's saying that there is an extremely hot woman that guys will go crazy for - you know, the "dame to kill for". Guys that aren't hetero probably won't be so excited about that aspect of it. Sure, he probably didn't *have* to toss the hetero bit in there, but I don't see how its inclusion would be insulting.

Anyway, can't wait for this movie.
