Summary

You'd think a big budget video game movie starring the female lead from a hit TV show would just coast into theaters. But since Jamie Pressly made "DOA: Dead or Alive" years ago, it has shifted release dates only to constantly be pulled. That's fine by her, as she even apologizes to anyone who managed to see it at a press screening. Back to Article

I actually saw this a while ago. It's a fun movie in the way that really bad action films are "fun" for some people like me. If you enjoyed Mortal Kombat or most Van Damme movies, you might just want to try to see this.

Forget Jaime Pressly (she has seen better days). Sarah Carter is a goddess.

I've seen it (on DVD) and I'll say it's a fun watch. It'll be interesting to see how the Weinsteins handle marketing for the theatrical release, after so long. Sarah Carter is an underrated actress and Pressly ain't bad either; Valance is very watchable but Malthe is just meh.

Really terrible plot, but fun to watch when drunk. The two blonde girls other than Jaime (who I find weird looking too) are Holly Valance and I forgot the other's name but her character is Helena - they are stunning!!! Best of all there's a fight scene between the two in the rain or near water, if I remember correctly. That scene is the highllight of the movie and it's actually well filmed too surprisingly. However you could save a lot of time and money and just watch that bit on youtube.

Come on now you know just by looking at the trailer that its one of those movies that knows its not serious. Its lots of fun. I bought the dvd a few months ago cos i missed out seeing it at the movies. The fight scenes and cinematography are great and yes the acting is a bit hammy at times but jamie pressley does stand out, shes great fun to watch, as are the other female leads.

I think it's kind of nice to see somebody being honest about their own movie before it's released (instead of 20 years later). I like Jamie Pressly. I remember when they announced she was going to be in "My Name is Earl", I thought they just cast a pretty face, but I've been consistently surprised at how funny she is.

I actually liked this one in a way. Sure, it's literally a helmet wearing full on special needs kind of movie, but it knows it is, and it's fun. I laughed hard throughout. And the choreography and fight scenes are consistently inventive.
