New Trailers: "Bee Movie" & "Rambo 4"
Stop on in to see a rather amusing new "Bee Movie" trailer -- and a downright hilarious promo clip for Stallone's "John Rambo."
AICN has the "Rambo" clip that Sylvester Stallone put together for distributors at Cannes, but the website plans to pull the thing down after a few days, so check it out now. (Or check it out later at YouTube.) The rough-cut promo trailer is chock full of typically nasty Rambo action -- and did I miss something or did John just punch a man's head ... off? ("John Rambo" plans to invade theaters next summer. So watch out.)
For something totally different, check out the latest trailer for Jerry Seinfeld's "Bee Movie." (Jerry was also in Cannes; I read that he flew off of a roof in a bee costume.) The DreamWorks Animation flick co-stars Renee Zellweger, John Goodman and Chris Rock. (Well, their voices anyway.) This one buzzes into theaters on November 2nd.

on May 21 2007 12:24 AM He doesn't punch it off, he cuts it off. Maybe you should pay close attention. Producers wouldn't be that stupid to actually put that in a "serious" movie. (Reply to this) |

![]() on May 21 2007 06:19 AM When Rambo Chopped that guys head off.... That looked so friggen fake. Looks to be more hilarious than Grindhouse! And Bee Movie... Are they trying to promote inter species relationships? (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 10:50 AM Rambo's looking a bit chunky. It looks like a lot of these scenes will probably be toned down for an R-rating. But that monster gun into the front of the Jeep was classic! (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 11:00 AM seriously? Ok, i showed a few people at work the rambo trailer. Everyone was laughing. To the guy that said more hilarious than Grindhouse... i completely agree! Although the sad part is that Rambo is supposed to be serious where Grindhouse is not. (Reply to this) |

![]() on May 21 2007 11:53 AM Yikes! Rambo decided to get a bit gory. Still, it's cool to see the old guy back in action. That's the way action movies are meant to be: the flat out slaughter of the bad guys. What can I say, I'm a child of the '80's. Still, there is no doubt in my mind that he's dead by the end of the movie. It just seems like something Sly would do now. Seinfeld's Bee movie looks funny and poinlessly stupid at the same time. (I'm sure plenty of you will say Rambo does too.) If Seinfeld can give it a good plot, it might be worth it. (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 12:15 PM WTF?? I watched the trailer and The first thing that came to my mind was "Holy S***, John Rambo has finally lost it" Seriously, the thing looked more like a slasher flick rather than a gun-ho war movie. The way he stalked the first guy and the one who is disemboweled made me think that finally john Rambo had gone postal. Anyway I think it should be fun if only for the gory parts because other than that it's the same old song (Save trautman, now save some hippies lost in the jungle) (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 12:52 PM Back to Bee Movie - with all the hype it's had, I was just saying a few days ago that I hope it turns out good. The trailer (saw it before Shrek) had me laughing, so it's sounding pretty decent so far. (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 01:35 PM "John Rambo" looks promising Thank God it looks like they're going for the R-rated edginess of the previous three. I always wanted another Rambo and another Dirty Harry. I'm glad I'll at least get to see one of my two favorite action heroes again. (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 01:42 PM In reply to this comment (#866096) Agreed Sadly, never saw a single rambo movie, but at least I can tell John Rambo probably won't suck. Stallone's doing a good job so far, and despite his age, he really looks like an action star, but I still hope it'll adress his age. (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 03:32 PM Rambo/Jason Yeh, in this movie Rambo seems to be like a Jason for brown skinned soldiers. Poor guys. He could at least just shoot them or blow them up. (Reply to this) |

on May 21 2007 03:33 PM stallone's gonna resurrect another franchise RAMBO LOOKS LIKE IT'S GONNA BE A OLD SCHOOL ACTION FLICK LIKE FIRST BLOOD, WITH A LOT MORE BLOOD (Reply to this) |
