What exactly did you find promising about that considering you found the last bit to be groan inducing -- because from what I saw the rest of the teaser is just twirling graphics and bright lights???

I hate it when movies become too unbelievable. Like, for instance, Transporter 2. The first one was cool, but in an attempt to outdo an already over-the-top film, they destroy a movie that needed no sequel at all. It's all about money though. Anyways my point is, I really hope NT2 doesn't dissapoint me like some other sequels.

Why do they have to keep breaking the law? Honestly, you'd think the billions of dollars they found last time would give them some leeway...

The whole first movie causes me to groan outloud. There's no way I'm going to see the sequel. Especially since they'll projectile vomit the same garbage out that made the first one so "successful". Complete garbage.

I caught the 1st movie on DVD and I took the advice of one of the reviewers: just turn your brain off and accept it as pure candy. And because I did that it was a heck of a lot of fun. If you go into a film like this expecting realism then you are fooling yourself. I'll add it to my NetFlix queue.

Didnt lincoln die 300 years ago? let it go people!

nic cage has to stop doing these commerical movies, because every one of them sucks ass (lately, because for my money, face off and the rock are highly enjoyable action flicks. con air... not so much)....

lets recap his last couple of commercial movies: next (sucked), ghost rider (sucked), national treasure (sucked), national treasure 2 (sure to suck, the wicker man (sucked)... he's clearly a good (great sometimes) actor in the right role, like adaptaion, leaving las vegas, i liked him alot in lord of war, but then he goes and drops a deuce like next.

somebody has to do a better job of picking his projects. (although, to be fair, if bruckhiemer waved a 15 mil check in my face for national treasure 2, it would be kind of hard to say no)

Jesus Christ. If you can honestly enjoy these movies, there's something seriously wrong with you. I bet National Treasure fans all have this dream of doing commercials for Reebok, too.

So your opinion means shit, never talk again. Continue to believe what you want but alot of people liked those movies and their opinions are valid, yours are not.

It didn't look too bad to me. I enjoyed the first one. It's nice to be able to go to a movie and not have to endure language, sex, violence in mass quantities. This trailer wasn't THAT impressive, but I'll probably go see it. People on here are just trying to one-up eachother with who can make the cathiest hate-phrase.

Sadly this has a better chance of being better then Pirates 2 and 3.

What is worse then a sequel? Sequels filmed together to save money!

I hate when I have to endure language, sex, and violence......wait no I don't.

You know what I can't endure. When the movie industry so obviously tries to whore itself out to the lowest common denominator with unneeded, horrendous sequels that are made with no care, integrity, or effort just to make money.

I'm certainly no Nic Cage fan, but I really enjoyed the first one. It's a good movie for history nerds because it's got enough decent story to keep you interested while still having enough laughable elements for us to expound upon with "That's not true, this is what really happened..." and feel superior to people who don't know. and lets face it that's really what we want.
