That's sweet that Deschanel has joined the cast of Shyamalan's new film.

I thought we were finished with the Terminator franchise. Arnold Schwarzenegger is done, so that means the series is done. Seriously, they need to let it go.

I doesn't matter whether or not Alien vs. Predator 2 is a horror film, what matters is if it has a good story and tension. Alien and Aliens was a horror film and an action film, respectively, and both were fantastic. If Andrew Li thinks that changing the genre of the sequel is going to rectify all of the problems with its predecessor, then he is in for a rude awakening.

What can I say about Iron Man? It's looking good, and I'm excited.

The Wolverine spinoff might be a good idea. After all, he was the main protagonist in all three of the X-Men films, and as a result the other characters seemed stuffed in with no real significance, so a film that just focuses on him might be a good way to clear away all the superfluous nonsense that plagued the third installment. I'm not sure about the Magneto spinoff, though. Does he really need an origin story, and more importantly, do most people even care?

I trust the judgement of Chris Nolan. He took a lot of creative risks in Batman Begins, and most of them paid off beautifully. If he believes that shooting these scenes in the IMAX format is the best way to view them, then I'll trust him. The Dark Knight seems to be going in the right direction, anyway, so 2008 can't get here soon enough.
