I'd be down with Walken for the role.

You don't like the idea of an invisible British Nazi-buster?

You know the heat is on Hollywood when they're afraid to call an obvious remake a remake.
A follow up, huh? .... Riiigghhttttt ....

The Invisible was one of the worst movies I've seen, it appeared to be one of those churn um out to make some money type of movies. If the same guy is writing and directing this with how bad the story in The Invisible was I can't imagine this could be any good either.

An invisible man is not an invisible man unless that invisible man is Chevy Chase.

But Goyer has written some really good comic book and sci-fi outings, such as; Dark City, Batman Begins, and the Blade films. He may have stumbled a little bit here and there, but as any artistic person will tell you, not every piece is a gem. I just wonder if he can maintain focus enough to get anything done. Right now he is attached to Supermax (the Green Arrow-in-prison movie) Magneto, and this new Invisible Man movie. Seems like he might be biting off a bit more than he can chew. I wish him the best of luck though.

I think Tom Cruise would do well in that role.

People are probably going to bash me for this, but I personally would like to see him in that role.

I like that idea, but there are so many more people suited for the role.

It sounds like it could be OK, but they shouldn't let Goyer direct. When he's only involved with the writing, the movies seem to be good (the first 2 Blade movies, Dark City), but usually when he directs (The Invisible, Blade: Trinity), the movies end up sucking.

I think you should get Christopher Lambert to play the role. How great would that be. Or better yet you could have Steven Seagal. I liked the idea of Tom Cruise being invisible through the whole movie so we do not have to see him.

Anybody else see Sean Penn in the role?

Yes. It actually might lighten him up a little.

Walken, Cruise, or Penn would be great. I thought Goyer actually did a good job directing The Invisible, it did have some huge plot holes in it though. And he is a proven writer, so I'll have to see how this fills out before I get exicited or not.

Walken would be fantastic. "Your father gave me this formula. I had up my ### for ten years. And now, I give it to you. TO TURN...INVISIBLE." (makes spooky motions with his hands)
