Boyle Says Russia Up For Next 28 Days Later Sequel
Summary
Danny Boyle has had a varied career (Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, The Beach, Millions) but is arguably best known for reviving the zombie genre with 2003's 28 Days Later. With a rumored second sequel on the horizon, how does the Sunshine director really feel about revisiting the "trashy" world of zombie horror? Back to Article

on Jul 17 2007 07:08 PM I see films if I know Danny Boyle is directing. Even A Life Less Ordinary... And 28 Weeks was worthy, but yeah, nothing will ever top 28 Days Later... One of my favourite films. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Jul 18 2007 08:16 AM Also, let's take a moment to consider the title. 28 Days Later: Jim wakes up after the initial infection. 28 Weeks Later: The plague returns after 28 weeks. I'm imagining that this movie will take place 28 months after 28 Weeks Later. That's two years and four months, by the way. That's a really long time gap between the two breakouts. I have to wonder how and why it would come back after such a long period of dormancy. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 15 2008 01:49 AM Both films were good, and each one stepped it up and brought something fresh, this is the best and most realistic film of this genre, there aint nothing like it, out there, not even a big budget film like IAM LEGEND could do it like 28 days later or 28 Weeks, russia sounds amazing, and subtitles would make it eerie as hell, more red eyes and blood, how about a apocalyptic plot? We are talking the end of mankind here, encore with 28 months, i will be waiting, please take your time, and make us wait, keep it real, no cgi, keep it like 28 days, less guns or weapons, so that it gives us some Alien 3 suspense..lmao...Hell yeah, you guys rock, bring it...
