- Media Rights Capital (MRC) has committed $250 million to fully finance eight films from directors Robert Rodriguez, Ricky Gervais, Walter Salles, Ryan Murphy, Richard Kelly, Bennett Miller and Todd Field.
- Ashley Judd will star in the drama Helen for Egoli Tossell Film and Insight Film Studios, with Sandra Nettelbeck directing her own script.
- Ben Kingsley, Meagan Good and The Daily Show's John Oliver have joined the cast of Mike Myers' The Love Guru.

- Finally, RT wishes to remember film critic Bill Muller of the Arizona Republic, who passed away this week at age 42.

I hope so, because the only Anderson film I know he didn't write on was The Life Aquatic, and while that was a well made film, it was NOT funny. (Reply to this) |
