By the time the Dark Knight movie comes out we will have already seen two thirds of the movie. It's being over hyped like Spider-Man 3 was, hopefully this won't turn out like Batman & Robin.

Terrence Malick and Tree of Life, that's all I need to hear. I can only imagine how beautiful that might turn out.

I don't know Bloody Mathias, while The Dark Night new was good, the fact that Peter Jackson has signed on for The Hobbit will no doubt be one of the movie news stories of the year simply for that fact that it will continue to make news on a regular basis until well after the release of DVD's of the Hobbit movies.

Indie thriller from Morgan Freeman? Wow, that should be interesting.

And it looks like Dakota Fanning's got a few new projects under her belt right now. Which should also be interesting, since she's kind of at an awkward stage right now, going through puberty and all.

The Rite could potentially be good. I'll keep an eye on it.

hey, if that blasted street fighter movie is too stubborn to make the

definitive street fighter movie: based on Ryu or and Ken!!!!!

Then i guess if has to be based around chung-li, than make her an intersting hottie,

like Kristen Kreuk! so for video games nerds, THIS was the news of the week. along

with that dark knight thingie;)

Dracus, PJ/New Line/Hobbit news was tarnished by the fact that he won't be directing.

Admiral, that movie's not directed by THE Morgan Freeman. Just some young filmmaker with the same name.

Canuck, The plot mechanics of the actual movie have been kept underwraps so far.
I think the viral marketing has stopped now that the trailer and prologue have been released. And the mere fact that Nolan is producing/writing/directing TDK promises a Batman movie of equal quality to Batman Begins or hopefully even better.

I bet the "Street Fighter: The Later Years" will be better than the movie.

Batman and plot mechanics dont belong in the same sentence. We all know he faces the joker and two face will come on late in the movie. Crash and Traffic = plot mechanics.
Did anyone else notice there was no street fighting in the first street fighter. And if I want to see the hobbit, Ill watch one of the lord of the rings trilogy.

crash= a touchy subject (racism) exploited by like 8 people experiencing the worst day of their life....not really plot mechanics, literally had the story of a soap opera, they might as well of said that they were all related....and you must like don cheadle or something.....(as do i)
HOWEVER crash traffic < Batman Begins

I am so happy about jackson....only person who should do anything relating to Lord of the RIngs...besides south park...

P.S.
OVERHYPED!! WE have hardly seen anything. for how big this movie is, and how big batman begins should have been, they want to surpass the box office marks of begins which did not have enough marketing.

It is not the Morgan Freeman we all know and love! It's Morgan J. Freeman. I'm sure he put the J. in there so he wouldn't be mistaken anymore than he already would be!

That's sweet that Malick has a Tree of Life movie coming out with Pitt. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is damn cool so that makes me care a little bit about G.I.Joe now. That sucks that Norton left State of Play.
