No awards season -- even a strike-tainted one -- would be complete without the Razzies, right? Of course not. And that's why we've thoughtfully assembled all of this year's nominees in one convenient location.

The Razzies, now entering their 28th year, have been celebrating the worst in film since 1980, when John Wilson took a raspberry trophy, spray-painted it gold, and stuck it to Can't Stop the Music. This year's nominees are suitably distinguished, and they all follow below (with Tomatometers in parentheses). 'Fess up, Vineketeers -- how many of these have you seen? And enjoyed?

Only two things I disagree with:

- Unlike Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel can actually act (see Illusionist).
- I actually enjoyed and got more than I expected from Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem. I agree that it's not a horror film (should be on that list), but it was far superior to it's prequel. I would've chosen another movie to put on the Worst Prequel/Sequel list as there were tons to choose from this year.

Evan Almighty wasn't that bad. Yes, I would have been mad had I paid regular theatre admission. Highly recommended, though, as a family rental.

Are you serious? Nic Cage's performance in Ghost Rider was atrocious. I laughed at Nic Cage throughout the whole movie and not in a good way. Nic Cage's nomination for the Razzie is very justified and he should definetly win it. Nic Cage should just stick with what he's actually good at..comedies.

Of course I agree with all the Good Luck Chuck stuff. Dane Cook is terrible in everything he does. Jessica Alba needs to just go away! It's crazy because I have several friends that liked I now pronounce you chuck and larry.

I would have to say Captivity was terrible. Probably one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. And The Number 23 was embarrassing.

Where is Perfect Stranger with Halle Berry? The should have been in there for movie, screenplay and actress.

I didn't think The Number 23 was so bad...certainly not one of the worst films this year (i guess they don't count DVD releases, so there's less to choose from).

I watched it on a Plane home from Europe and while it wasn't the greatest thing in the world, I don't mind having watched it, and probably would have caught it if it was ever on television too.

You know, I haven't seen the other nominees, but I can't imagine how Ghost Rider avoided the "Worst Picture" list. As a matter of fact, how did it avoid the "Worst Excuse for a Horror Movie" list?

ill be shredded for this, but how about death proof for worst movie. to quote someone else, it was like watching an hour and a half of The View, and the whole payoff ending is seeing stuntman mike and resident cool guy kurt russel acting like a *****. worst movie of the year for me.

tonysola I have to agree with you. I'am a huge Tarantino fan but Deathproof was just god awful. The entire time I had no idea where the story was going until the final "action scene" which was just an excuse to promote that Australian stunt chick and how amazing it was that she did her own stunts! Lame..

I know Im in more of a minority than whole blooded Indian Americans with this but....Transformers was incomprehensibly terrible and the only movie this year that I almost walked out of. It deserves a whole slew of Razzies. Why dont intelligent movie going individuals realize this?

Did anyone out there watch the movie BUG? It was god awful and I saw the sound boom not once but twice. Bad sex scene, a guy running naked for five minutes, and overall really bad acting. I watched it at a dollar theater and felt that I got ripped off. I actually walked out. I talked to some people over at a movie store and they actually warn people not to watch the movie before hand. If you dont beleive me, well you will just have to sit through it. Bring a barf bag and hold on to your receipt so you can get your money back.

Okay, so they don't like Norbit, I Know Who Killed Me, Daddy Day Camp, Chuck and Larry, and Epic Movie. But dammit, do they have to nominate them in every single catagory? WE GET IT. The list is pretty redundant.

And I will risk my dignity and high esteem to make one firm declaration: Norbit was damn funny and deserves to be nowhere near this list because it succeeded in all the ways it was meant to succeed.
