I want to be Ryu (Ninja Gaiden) when I grow up

Wow, what a game! So addictive, but so hard. Ryu has all the moves a ninja would ever need, and the controls allow you to link and control them extremely fluently. Run up walls, slice through bad guys, and handle a variety of awesome weapons....it doesn't get much better!
However, don't be fooled into thinking this is an easy cut-em-up ride. Any of the villians is able to do serious damage, and they're not your average stupid AI character, either. They hunt in packs and wait for the perfect opportunity to strike. Plus, they regenerate, and you can only save your progress at certain points. All in all, highly addictive, and even though you may have to repeat the same areas, it never feels repetitive. Master all of Ryu's killer moves, know when to use them, and I doubt you'll found a more entertaining and challenging game.
