Typical and forulaic yes. This movie is not breaking any new ground and no one is winning an oscar for these performances. That all said it is an enjoyable film. Simon Pegg is great as the loveable loser who is trying to right wrongs. He brings quick wit and heart to everything he's in. Dylan Moran is great as his friend/trainer. There are some truly funny moments in this film. A better than average romantic comedy.
