200great in film terms

Mood:
A-OK
after 2007, the year of the mega sequels and mega disappointment, im looking forward to a year that is not based on rehashed sequels being the main attraction.it seems 2008 has a lot of good films coming up and im highlighting those im lookin forward to see.
looking at the previews it seems as if the "superhero/comic adaption/Action-adventure" films are still the most popular genre, espicially in my book. With hancock, Iron Man, The dark Knight and Hellboy 2 taking the lead in the most anticipated films of 2008. But I ony feel that The dark Knight will be a truely meaningfull film out of the lot, but im crossing fingers for Iron because of Downey jr,but i wont be surprised if its jst fx and not a very good story.
While the dark knights "why so serious" campaign has been very interesting.i think we are all looking forward to see what Heath Ledger did with the joker and how much can Nolan improve on begins.
Then outside the superhero group is films like quantum of solace, there will be blood, wall - e, maybe indiana jones and the Al Pacino and De Niro movie.
But the biggest question for me is will these movies disappoint aka spiderman 3 or will they show theres still good stories to be told in an interesting and engaging way.only time will tell.
