Critics: Check Top Critics: x Community: Check Friends: Check Favorites: N/A Posted on 11/7/09 at 3:05 PM As a big fan of the original Dawn of the Dead I was a little upset that Hollywood decided to remake one of my favorite Horror films. Usually when I think of Horror remakes I think of a god awful, torture-porn flick but after I saw this I was pleasantly surprised. The remake differs itself from the original and thats great because in most Horror remakes it's the same thing except with more sex and gore but with Dawn of the Dead almost everything is different so your actually seeing a new movie. Not another remake clone. In my opinion the best thing about Dawn of the Dead is the characters. Each one has a different personality and aren't just one-minded like most characters in Horror films. The action scenes are fast-paced and top notch! I was at the edge of my seat the whole movie. Literally. The head exploding zombie scenes are awesome and gruesome. If your a fan of the original or zombies definitely check this out! For more fun watch this movie with friends.
