What makes a documentary appealing to me is when the subject matter is that of which I know NOTHING about. Have I ever been to Hollywood Boulevard? Yes. Did I think for more than 30 seconds about each character? Probably not. Did I once think of their personal lives? Not at all. This documentary explored the true lives of the people behind the mask, and it's a story worth watching.
