2012 has stunning special effects but the predictable story with the two-demensional characters make this film just plain awful.

Where the Wild Things Are (2009)
It's not what you would expect it to be, i feel it is much more an adult film than a childrens film. The special effects are great, the characters are great, and especially the world they are found in. In the end, it is the uncomprimised vision of Spike Jonze.
