Confusing? yes. Bizzare? yes. Still, this movie seems to have gotten a raw deal. Part of a number of strange sci-fi movies released in '05, Aeon Flux is not really a bad movie. For those who are unaware, it is based on a brief animated series from MTV's heyday. It retains certain aspects of the series, but necessarily tones down some of the violence, immorality, and general weirdness. Not a bad film by any stretch. Decent action sequences, an interesting plot and some good casting make for an interesting movie. Know what you're getting in to when you see it, and you shouldn't be disappointed.
