The songs and characters are alright for a chick flick, but even by those standards it's a letdown. It's a movie that's kind of hard to hate, you can tell a lot of effort went into it, but in the end, Meryl Streep singing still sucks, as do most of the other singers, especially Pierce Brosnan. He's awesome, but he should never sing. Ever.
